Lindsay attended Carsten's Aveda Institute in Tempe Arizona, and has over 4 years salon experience. She assisted two very respected stylists in the area, and brings that expertise to our salon family. She is enthusiastic and passionate about hair, has great communication skills. She specializes in color and curly hair. She loves doing wedding parties, and hair for special occasions. She attended Paul Mitchell's *The Gathering* in July 2009 for continued education. Lindsay's spunkiness is sure to keep a smile on your face. Shalene has been in the hair industry for over 17 years. She loves all aspects of hair styling, from haircuts and styles to highlights and perms. She loves taking straight hair to curly hair, and freshening up hair with bright, new colors. She believes that a consultation is a very important part of your visit. Communication is the key to being able to give you exactly what you want so that when you walk out of the salon, you feel absolutely beautiful.
I have been in the hair industry for over 9 years. I graduated from Manassas School of Beauty in Manassas, VA. I Joined Salon Blissful in December of 2008. My number one goal is for my clients to be confident and satisfied with their hairstyle. I also believe you can never stop learning in this industry so I stay current with trends and take continuing education classes so I am able to cater to my wide range of clientele. I specialize in cuts and colors for both men and women. In my 13 yrs as a Stylist, I have worked in several different privately owned Salons where the atmosphere is always friendly and the focus is on continuing education and shows. As with any career, the more people you work with the more you learn. I have been lucky enough to work with some great talents in this industry and with every experience I walked away with greater knowledge and sharper skills.

After working for others for years, I then decided it was time to become my own boss and worked as an independent contractor, I then realized that it was time for me to open my own Salon and then thats when the birth of Salon Blissful happened.
